Catch Dora The Explorer at the Zoo!

Catch Dora the Explorer as she goes on a journey with Boots to look for the missing baby animals. Enjoy an action packed activity session and help match the right baby animals to their parents through identifying special characteristics about each creature. Better yet, make your holiday a memorable one and capture those magical moments with Dora the Explorer and Boots at a photography session.

Dear YY n NN n DD
It was another trip to the zoo again today! This time, it was to catch Dora The Explorer in action! It was a pretty brief encounter with Dora TE, and a tad too messy with the mass photo-taking session. For a minute or two, Mummy panicked when I couldn't spot you 2, YY n NN, among the swarm of kids in the queue upstage. Papa re-assured Mummy and pointed out your 2 little excited faces. Once on stage, you 2 were more interested shaking hands with, and touching Dora TE. So much so that we almost couldn't spot you in the photos!

The highlights of today's trip have to be the waterplay and the pony ride.
YY n NN, both your laughter was so loud and clear!

YY, you really take good care of your little sister during the waterplay. Well done!

NN, Mummy was surprised that you asked for a pony ride. My little gal has grown independent...

P/s: It was really a good idea to go to the zoo early in the morning, like today. Less crowded and not as hot.

Didi and Spike

Dear DD
Here's some videos of you trying to "walk your dog, Spike" and teaching Spike to bark. Mummy will miss these cute actions of yours as you grow up...

P/s : When Papa saw these cute videos, he actually wondered aloud "Maybe it's time to get a small puppy for you 3?" Of course Mummy strongly protested... :(

The Living Court House

Dear YY n NN n DD
The Supreme Court was open to the public this weekend. As we happened to be within vicinity, we went in for a look after the Little Big Shots screening. The queue outside was long, but fortunately fast moving.
NN, so co-incidentally, Zavier and his parents were also heading into the Court house. So you had company.
YY, as usual, you had more fun with Papa following the court "trial" as it made more sense to you.
It was too bad that the Q to the Humpty Dumpty Trial was too long. Else you would have enjoyed it.

Little Big Shots

Dear YY n NN
The Little Big Shots (4-9) was a last minute time. Mummy dragged her feet about buying tixs for the Prudential Children Arts Fest 2009, until most (both the shows and tixs) were long gone!
YY, you enjoyed this screening.
NN, we would have to give you more time...
DD, so sorry we didnt bring you in this time...
We would try to cover more shows in the coming year.

It's Tuesday again before we realise it....

Dear YY n NN
Mondays used to be your favourite day of the week (saturdays and sundays not counted!). Mummy and Papa used to bring you 2 out for grocery trips to Giant at Tampines. Sometimes we would stop by Ikea for some tasty chicken wings. Sometimes Didi and Grandma would come along too. However, we have stopped this routine a few months back due to heavy work commitment.
Now, every Monday passes by before we even notice it.
Let's make the trip again next Monday.

"Nature"-ly Fun Saturday

Dear YY n NN n DD
We had a simple but fun saturday last weekend.
Our first stop was the Sengkang Riverside Park, highly "advertised" in your friend Ashley's blog. It was hot, really hot at 10am...
However kids being kids, the 3 of you didn't mind or complain about the heat at all and had a great time cycling and playing ball on the spacious turf. Mummy hope this "no frills" idea of fun will remain with you for many years to come.

2nd stop - Seletar Flying Club
Papa drove us to this remote place within the Seletar Airbase vicinity. It was really an "Up Close and Personal" experience with the airplanes.

3rd stop - Animal Resort
YY n NN, you had fun feeding the rabbits and Kois here.
DD, it was your naptime and you had a great nap in the sweaty weather. :P

Final Stop - Lunch at Macs!
As usual, it's mealtime at your favorite outlet!

Real fun!
We should do this again!

Funny Didi

Dear DD
At one year old now, you are really a cute and funny little boy.
Mummy couldn't resist taking videos of your funny actions.

Here's one when you heard the music to Grandma's fav "Yi Nan Wang" show. According to her, it's also your fav! (Faintz...)

This is another one of you dancing to your fav song played from your leapfrog toy radio. We call this your "ant stepping" dance.
