Mummy failed terribly in updating your blog. :(
Have been so busy for the past few months. Everytime there is some interesting thing to blog about, Mummy will go to the facebook website instead. Fast and convenient. But less personal to you 4. It's really a very bad habit.

A brief summary of happenings and developments within these 5 mths before the next long lapse....

5th Feb 2011- xDD turned one.
We had a simple celebration at home. Your 3 kor kors and jie jie helped decorate the DIYed cake from Icing Room. All had lots of fun! And you picked the pen during our traditional item picking session. A writer to be in future?
Grow up healthy and happy in our family, our youngest baby. :)

March School Holidays 2011 -
HongKong Trip with the 3 eldest kids. Sorry! xdd.
Went together with Aunty Michelle and family.
It was real fun. Will blog about this soon!

March 2011 -
xDD began to walk steadily. Well done, my lil baby!

NN, you resumed your art lessons with Tr Maria.
DD, you started art lessons with Tr Maria as well.
You 2 really like her so much and have so much fun during art class.

10th April 2011 -
Had a birthday bash for Grandma in a restaurant. Invited almost 60-70 friends and relatives altogether.
Happy 70th birthday, Grandma!

6th May 2011 -
Happy Birthday, NN!
We celebrated with you at your preschool, followed by a visit to your favourite indoor playgrd, Go Go Bambini.

May 2011 -
xDD had his first hair cut! Long overdue. Supposed to do it when you were 4th mth old, but delayed until you were almost 1 year 4 mth old. So sorry!
But you were such a good boy during the haircut. You didn't fuss at all! Well done!

End May 2011 -
NN, you had your first violin exam in Nafa. Score As for both assessment. Thus you can move on to Prep 2 Class the next term. Very good job!

DD, you cleared the violin audition for prep 1 class! Whoa! You are starting nafa too!

June School holidays 2011 -

Short getaway to Pulai Springs Resort at Johor with 4 other families. Fun!

Redang trip with YY and NN. Sorry, DD and xDD. You 2 are too young to swim or last the 9 hour coach trip! Will blog about this separately too!

July 2011 -
DD, start of Enopi Maths and Nafa Violin classes for you. So far we are both coping ok, and you are not as unco-operative as before. Maybe bcos you are bigger now, and hence more sensible?

CNY 2011 - 2nd Day

Usually on the 2nd day of every CNY, our whole family would set off for Yong Peng in Malaysia early in the morning.
This year, we started our journey at ard 630am.
The best part of the journey had to be that stretch of small windy road from Yong Peng into KB. At one part of the road, when one drives fast enuff, you will find your heart dropping. (Due to the sudden drop in road level). You kids have always look foward to this. Mummy too, when I was small. :)

Reached your 4th GrandAunt's house 2 hours later, where some of your little Uncles and Aunties were still Zzzz-ing....

All of them were so excited to see the 4 of you. The place was real spacious and you had fun visiting the relatives' houses.

After lunch, we drove down to another town for a short visit. You had so much fun with the little rabbits found in one of the organic farms.

Then we proceeded for dinner at Lucky Gardens Restaurant in Yong Peng, treated by Mummy's Eldest Uncle. Total 4 tables of >12 pax per table. Really a big family, and every year it's growing!

After that we went to 6th Grandaunt's house.

NN and DD, you 2 had so much fun at her Kara-oke room, singing that hokkien tv drama song...
xDD, you were so happy sitting in that remote control car. :)
YY, you had fun with the fireworks and sparklers here.

The highlight of the CNY Malaysia visit has always been Fireworks at 4th Grandaunt's place after that.
Thanks to the little Uncles and Aunties, who kept quite a large quantity of fireworks for you to play with.
You really had so much fun there.
DD, you were so happy playing with the Kong Ming Teng.... You must have lighted at least 5 or 6. :)

Mummy had alot of childhood memories playing with fireworks here, and it was really nice that you kids get the rare chance to play with them too. :P

CNY 2010 - 1st Day

Eve of CNY 2011

Our 2nd time as a family of 6 celebrating CNY.
Last year xDD was barely 2 weeks old and Mummy was still confined at home during this time of the year.
This year, all 6 of us trooped down to Popo's house for Reunion Dinner. :)
Steamboat cum BBQ dinner, same as how we normally celebrated CNY Reunion Dinner the past few years.
Er Shu and San Shu came over for a short MJ session with Papa just before midnite.
YY, you said you joined them and declared to stay awake the whole night. But shortly after they left, you fell asleep too. Silly boy. :P

Doggy for Xdd's 1st Birthday

Your 1st birthday falls on the 3rd day of CNY this year.
Hence we decided to get you a pressie in advance.
This meant another birthday trip to the Build-a-Bear Workshop at Vivocity. (All the kids, except for your Kor Kor Ryan, have gotten a 1st birthday pressie from here before)
Your korkors and jiejie chose a husky dog for you and they had great fun helping the shop assistant to "puff up" and "dress up" your doggy.
There was a slight debate on naming your dog (Kingsley or Gordon) during the making of the birth cert.
Finally the 3 elder siblings agreed on naming the dog Kingsley, hence xDD's Kingsley came home with us. :P

Ryan's First Transaction @ Flea Mkt at Pasir Ris

Er Shu and San Shu rented a place at the flea market on the 1st day of the year 2011.
However San Shu was out-station during this period and you gamely volunteered to help out.
The items to sell were iphone 4 covers which Er Shu bought in bulk from china, and some old audio CDs.
Your first transaction came from an uncle who bought a total of 14 CDs. You were so proud of yourself. However biz was slow for iphone covers and you ended up playing games on Er Shu's handphone instead.
The stall lasted for 3 hours before it started to drizzle. Papa quickly helped Er Shu to bundle up everything and made for shelter upstairs, back at Po Po's house. However the rain stopped as suddenly as it started. But all 3 of you were tired and decided to call it a day.
On hindsight, maybe they shouldn't have packed up so early. Maybe should have make it last until the very last hour....

In any case, it was a rare experience for you.

Countdown to 2011 - Fireworks at Marina Square

We managed to catch the fireworks @ the countdown to the new year again this year. We chose Marina Square this time. It was very crowded and we had a big big group with us this time. Together with your Msian cousins, there were 5 adults, 6 kids and 1 baby. It was a long 2.5 hours wait into the new year and inbetween, we had to entertain you kids with food.
NN, too bad you fell asleep just before the fireworks started.
It was really fantastic and worth the wait.
Btw we reached home, all of you were really knocked out and didn't stir abit when we transferred you from car to bed!

We renewed our Zoo Membership

We renewed our zoo membership today. Added in xDD's pix also, but too bad his name couldn't be printed on the card as well due to space limitation.

The sky was overcast when we entered the zoo entrance. Luckily after a short shower, the sky cleared.
We had arranged to meet Ah Yi and her brood of nieces (Mummy's also) at the zoo. They had come straight from Malaysia.
All 6 of you kids had alot of fun at the waterplay @ Rainforest Kids followed by the shows.
DD, you were very very disappointed to miss the chance of feeding the kangaroos. Nevermind, we have plenty of chances next time. :)

Xmas 2010 walkabout

The Xmas of 2010. Papa and Mummy brought you 4, together with Grandma and Kaka, for a ride on the MRT to Orchard.
We spent 1.5 hrs there, and managed to walk from Orchard MRT station to Somerset MRT station. It was quite a feat with you 4 kids in tow, with the stroll being interrupted by toilet breaks, ice cream treats, and the occasional tantrums. Hope we can move faster in the year 2011... :P

Nicolle's Ballet

It has been a year since Mummy enrolled you in pre-school ballet at Dancepointz SK. On and off, Papa has been talking about stopping this enrichment as he is worried you might be too tired out from all your classes. But so far, you are coping well and enjoying your lessons.
On your last lesson for pre-school level, parents were invited into the dance studio for open house session to see what you have been learning for the past 1 year. From the session, tt was very obvious that all you kids like Ms Mariska very much, and she could handle all the kids very well too.
You will be going onto the Pre-Primary Level starting next year.

Last Day in SM - Bye Bye Teacher Claudia

Dear DD
At 3 yr old, we stopped your lessons @ The Shichida Method.
You had attended 8 terms (i.e. 24 months) of lessons altogether.
Maybe the numerous changes in teachers (due to the changes in time slots to suit the family arrangements) have resulted in your nonchalant and non-participative attitude in class. Maybe the lack of regular home practices has also contributed to your lack of interest in some activities. Hence the decision to stop your SM lessons now.
However, there is no denying that you really adore your SM teacher, Ms Claudia, who has taken you for a full 3 terms.
In the meantime, without this right brain enrichment, Mummy really need and hope to make effort in regular home practices with you.
We shall look for more suitable courses to let you attend in the near future.

Didi Rhaines'Birthday Celebration in CM

Really couldn't keep up with time.
Your 3rd year old birthday came in a flash.
We had the celebration in school one day earlier as your birthday fell on a Saturday this year. KorKor Ryan couldn't attend as he was away in Holiday Camp Programme.
This year, you chose a Pluto cake.
You are pretty comfortable in CM by now and remained very happy and excited throughout the celebration. Especially during goodie bag time. You and your JieJie Nicolle were so excited to distribute the goodie bags to your classmates. We had quite a number of bags leftover due to the low attendance that day. You and NN eagerly distributed all to your teachers... Haha.

After that, we headed off for indoor play session at Go Go Bambini. It was our first time there and you and JieJie had great fun for the next 3 full hours.

We were invited to Uncle Joseph's and Aunty Joanne's Renewal of Marital Vow church ceremony.
Mummy had known Uncle Joseph for 10 years and it was so sweet to see him and his wife renewing their vow in the 27th year of their marriage, with their 18 yr old Ashley and 14 yr old Abigail side by side.

YY, you had a special task on this special day.
You were the little ring bearer for the ceremony.
You did your job real well, and Uncle Joseph was full of praises for you.
He commented that you were very professional, not fidgety or restless at all. Haha.

Here's wishing another 27 years of marital bliss for both of them.

My Inspirational Music School Annual Concert

Nafa - Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

Mummy brought you for The Nafa Young Violinist audition in late November. You cleared the audition and was given a place in their Violin Prep Class starting Jan 2011.
After some discussion with Papa, we decided to let you switch school from Mandeville to Nafa, hoping that you would gain a stronger violin foundation from this strict music school.
We also brought you and Kor Kor for Nafa's annual concert, to let you get a feel of what to expect in Nafa if you are still with them a year later.

CM - 2nd Parent Teacher Session Yr 2010

It was time for CM Teachers' feedback again.

Dear NN

Feedback on your Chinese from Li Hong Laoshi
The emphasis is on recognising the parts of the Chinese Characters now.
You are able to recognise some Chinese Characters along the way too.
A mix of simple ones to some very complicated ones
You can read those chinese words in your school chinese readers, although Mummy thinks that it may be due to part memory too.
Next year you will put the parts together and learn them as Chinese Characters.
There will also be more writing.

Li Hong Laoshi is quite pleased with your performance and says that you are a clever and focused girl who learns very fast.

Feedback on your Maths from Ms Adeline

You are being introduced to numbers in their thousand place and being taught simple addition as well.
Ms Adeline feedbacks that you have no problem at all and remains very focused through-out the lessons.

Feedback on your English from Ms Lee

The emphasis is on recognising sight words and blending words using your phonics skills now.
Ms Lee comments that you are already very advanced in this area and are a very confident reader.
It is very obvious that you enjoy reading alot and are always seen with a book in your hand during your freeplay time in school. Sometimes even during indoor playtime, you will choose reading over cycling/playing....

Feedback on your general behaviour

Your teachers comment that eversince Mummy start to fetch you to and fro from school, your mood in the morning starts to swing. One day, you can be very happy while the next day you will be pouting when you enter the sch premises. Ms Adeline and Ms Lee joke that they intend to take photos of the different Nicolle everyday and do up a weather chart on you. :P
Mummy really hope that you will overcome your separation anxiety very soon. It is not nice to see a whining Nicolle every morning afterall...

Feedback from Ms Fang and Zhou Laoshi

Both your teachers comment that your attention span in class is quite good and you are able to carry out most of the tasks instructed. However there are times when you do the least expected (naughty action). One instance was you lead a few kids to start kicking one of the classmate's leg. Very naughty of you. The other instance was inciting Brandon to ""run towards the partition wall in the classroom and throw yourself on it". When the teachers reprimanded you two and put you on the thinking chairs, Brandon was already wailing loudly. However you were still laughing happily!
Your teachers also observe that you are a boy with great pride and dignity. Not that you are proud. But whether the teachers reprimand you in front of your friends, you become very upset and refuse to listen. When they start to pull you to the side and talk to you quietly instead, you are more receptive and sometimes even acknowledge your mistake.

Mummy can see that you 2 enjoy school @ CM very much and hope that you continue to grow and thrive mentally/ academically/ physically in the next few years there before you go on to Primary School.

This was our 2nd year going for the Baby Proms Concert.
It was really an interactive concert for Babies and Kids.
All the various instruments on stage were being introduced to you, and all the kids were even encouraged to join the orchestra on stage towards the ending part.
YY n NN, you 2 went upstage hand in hand. However you lost each other in the midst of the crowd once on stage. It was a pity that while the orchestra was playing their last song, NN, the sobbing you was too frightened to notice anything. While YY, you was frantically looking for NN...
Talk about stage fright!
DD, you were not well and kept fidgeting. So Mummy guessed you didn't enjoy this concert much...
However it was overall still a nice performance.
We shall come again next year if we manage to buy the tixs.

The Quiet Side of Nicolle

You have adopted the same reading habit as your KorKor Ryan and would pick up any book to read.
Many a times, we would find you seated quietly by the bookshelf with a book in your hand, and many more stacked on the floor next to you. Sometimes you would be sitting side by side with your KorKor Ryan, totally engrossed in your reading. Other times, you would be alone, reading in the room, while the rest of your brothers would be screaming the house down outside.
Mummy is actually looking forward to a "serene" setting whereby all 6 of us will be reading together. That is, of cos, still a long long way to go....

Mummy is pacing your reading with the Peter and Jane Series now. Dry as they may seem, those repetitive words really do work wonders.

Nicolle's Violin Progress

You are into your 3rd month of violin lessons.
The pieces are getting more challenging, and the effectiveness of daily practises is sometimes hampered by your occasional tantrums too.
However your progress is still good. Although you may have to pay more attention to your basic foundation....
Maybe a decade later, you may have completed your grade 8 in this instrument, or maybe you have given up half way. In any case, indulge in the joy of learning.

Act 3 Sundays with Us - Move It!

'Move It!' is a high-energy rhythm and creative movement workshop for children to listen, move, play, have fun and interact with peers, based on the Rudyard Kipling classic, The Jungle Book.

The workshop aims to give children an insight to the sense of beat, rhythm and musical expressiveness while exploring and reliving the adventures of Mowgli and his jungle friends.
Physical movement activities in this workshop will illustrate the connection between body movement, rhythm, spatial awareness and kinaesthetic awareness, helping children to improve balance, coordination, concentration and self-esteem.

It's Halloween!

It's Halloween on Saturday. Co-incidentally Mummy had planned an evening BBQ with Mummy's colleagues and families on this day.
You had great fun at the pool with Aunty Serene's and Aunty Sookmun's kids before the BBQ. Too bad a heavy downpour sent all of us rushing for shelter in the midst of your fun. It also hampered those Papas' efforts at the BBQ pit.
Good thing that the rain stopped after 30 mins.
While the adults were busy BBQ-ing and eating, all the kids really had a great time at the playground opp the pit. (Mummy booked this pit on purpose!). All the kids' shirts were soaked in perspiration from all the running.
DD, you got along so well with JieJie Mandy that you even asked her to bring you to the toilet... Faint. A 3 yr old asking a 4 yr old for help in toilet.... Haha.
Papa also attempted to tell a horror story of the infamous Bishan Lady Ghost too. But none of the kids was scared. Haha.

CM's Family Day 2010 - Recyle & Reuse Theme

Dear NN n DD
It was a last min decision to join CM's family day this year.
Mummy was glad that we went, although the turn-out for this year's event was not that fantastic.
You 2 had lots of fun with the activities.

At the craft station
DD, you decorated a pencil case holder using recyled materials with Mummy's help, while NN, you did your paper necklace mostly by yourself.

At the costume making station
Mummy had to crack her head trying to figure out how to make costumes for you 2 using those magazines, newspapers, bottles, etc.
NN, thanks for helping Mummy cut out the shapes and paste colours onto your crown and outfit.
DD, you helped in the pasting of your Yakult Hat too.
Actually Mummy and NN were so engrossed in the making that Mummy failed to notice what you were doing...
It was only when Ms Fang and Lee Laoshi commented that Didi was doing Montesorri materials then did Mummy realise you were actually matching those bottle caps to the bottles (there were tons of bottles and caps on the tables) and trying to screw them back. Haha.
Anyway these were our end products. Not too bad yeah?

At the games stations
NN, the 3 games stations were manned by your 3 teachers.
Mummy could see that you like Ms Lee very very much! You kept standing by her side. :)
DD, the bowling game had to be your favorite!

At the DIY stations
Lu Laoshi taught us how to prepare salad using those white parts of watermelons which we normally throw away. You 2 were given knives to separate the watermelon piece into the red and white portions.
DD, while Mummy was talking to Lu Laoshi, you were very fast in eating up your watermelon piece instead of cutting it up! Haha

Costume Parade
The last activity was the costume parade. Even though we didn't win anything, it was fun watching the rest of the kids in their recyled outfits.

This has to be one of the best plays that Mummy ever brought you to. And we are not talking about any stunts on stage, special lighting effects, or fanciful costumes . The plot was also simple. It was the creativity of this Theatre Company that brought the whole story alive, and kept the floor full (yup, we were seated on the floor..) of audiences captivited and participative. The whole tale was hilarious. Combined with a few impromptu audiences from the floor who acted as the Handsome Prince, Beauty and her father, the ploy had a few kids rolling on the floor with laughter.
Including you, YY. You were laughing so loudly. Just a while ago, when Papa dropped us off at the ACT 3 Entrance, you were still commenting, "No more workshop please". Haha, I guess you didn't expect the play to turn out so fun right?

NN, you were ok attending this workshop without KorKor, maybe cos Mummy intentionally put you in the same class with Zavier, long time attendee of such drama workshop. The instructor commented that you were very focused in class. :)

YY, maybe you were a tad too big for this kinda drama workshop. You came out telling us it was ok, but when asked whether you would like to attend more in future, you said no need...
Well, i guess this pretty sums up your interest in this area and put a stop to Mummy's consideration whether to enrol you for a week long workshop during the coming Dec holidays.

Anyway, we wouldn't know until we have tried right?

This year, however, YY, you were not really that keen to go. Your thoughts were full of your coming SAs and you actually told us you would rather stay at home to study....

Of course, we had to drag you along with us.

NN, DD n xDD, Mummy's 2nd attempt into the Recital Studio with the 3 of you for another Playtime Show.

SYNOPSIS

The 3 of you enjoyed this show very much. Quite interactive towards the end when you kids were encouraged to stand up and dance / shake to the music, although none of you, NN n DD, did.
Mummy must be getting real good at handling you 3 all at once during showtime. It was not hard at all!
xDD, you actually sat on your own, with your eyes glued to the stage while Mummy held one of your hand.
DD, upon seeing xDD sit by himself, you immediately planted yourself onto my laps. Haha.
Overall an interesting show for you 3 and Mummy looks forward to bringing you 3 for more of such Playtime Shows.

YY, you are progressing very well in your Pri 1 studies, quite consistent in your piano practices, while waiting for your grade 1 practical exam result. You would be pretty stressed this coming month, with the coming school SAs and your grade 1 theory exam.

NN, well done in your reading so far. Now onto Peter & Jane Series Book 6a, and you are automatically picking up other books to read as well. You have started to self learn spelling also. Now we are working on your elementary piano and violin lessons. So far, you are enjoying both instruments now.

DD, we are working on your ABCs and 123s now. You have shown great interest in JieJie's violin too. Papa is teaching you slowly now.

xDD, you have reached a few milestones. You have started to crawl, pull yourself to a standing position in the cot, and sit unsupported now. Your bottom 2 central incisors have sprouted too!

Last Sunday was a sad SM last day of the term. Your SM teacher, Tr Ivy, was leaving SM. She had been your SM teacher for a long long time, when you were into your 3rd term with SM. You were barely 16 months old then. She has been a great and patient teacher. Another sad thing was, your current SM class is splitting up too. You has been classmates with Mingsu, Ellard, Marcus and Yifan for 2 years plus. Now with only Mingsu, Ellard and you left (Marcus swopped timing 1 term ago), we had to say bye bye to those little boys too as the number was too small to retain us as a class.
Thank you Tr Ivy, Mingsu, Ellard, Marcus and Yifan for those fun times.
I think NN, you would always remember that, every now and then, one of us parents would always bring some goodies/candies for you kids to share.

Mooncake Festival

We went back at Pgl for a mini gathering at the MSCP roof garden a few days before this year mooncake festival. It was good to see all the RC and non-RC friends.
You kids headed straight for the playground. You 3 had fun playing with Alena, her sis, Nurul, Lisa and a few other kids there.
YY, we met your ex-CM (Nursery class) classmate, Megan, there too. It had been a long long time since we saw them. Megan's daddy used to ferry you home from CM for a while, a long long time ago. Mummy is glad that Megan is looking good now and she is even taller than you! She had once contracted pneumoccal disease during your Nursery time and had to be hospitalised for a few months. It was really great to see Megan playing so wildly with you kids that day.

You even had a mini soccer game with the kids although DD, you were still not willing to share. In the end, you had your own solo game at a corner while the other kids had lots of fun over at the other side.

Firefly Trip at Msia

Papa planned for this family outing together with Uncle Han Meng & Family.

Itinerary for the day includes

Pulai Nature Fruit Farm
Lunch at Kukup
Fish Farm aka Kelong at Kukup
Shopping at Jusco (Mummy's favorite! too bad it was a short stopover only)
Dinner at Kota Tinggi
FireFly via boat downstream (Highlight of the trip!)

It was an educational trip for you kids.
You got to see the coffee plants, rubber trees, cocoa trees, dragonfruit trees, durian trees, orchids, etc. You also had a chance to feel those rubber seeds, smell the stinko milky rubber sap, and the cocoa at the Fruit Farm.

Those spitting fish at the Fish farm were also amazing, and accurate!

But of cos, the highlight was the Fireflies at Kota Tinggi. We took a boat along the river to look at the fireflies. All aboard had to wear life jackets, and dd, you looked so cute and small in your over-sized life jacket.
In the darkness, the moon and stars were so clear high up in the sky. The 3 of you couldn't resist singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars" as the boat went deeper into the river.

It was really a beautiful sight watching so many fireflies amongst the trees from the boat. They really lit up the trees, just like Xmas Tree lightings.

All these ended too soon, and we were on our way back home once more.

Mummy managed to get our family a slot in the 2011 IKEA coverpage photo session, thanks to Aunty KarHui's reminder. :)
It was a chop chop, hassle-free affair. The photographer commented that we have a big family. It was pretty hard to get all to smile at the same time, but our photo turned out quite nice, except maybe NN, you would have look nicer if you haven't look so fierce. But then again, anyone would look grouchy if she had been woken up from her beauty sleep...

A real challenge for Mummy this time...
Bringing you 3 youngest kids into the recital hall all by myself.
Papa had brought KorKor Ryan for The "Fried Rice Paradise Musical" during this time slot, and that left only Mummy with you 3 in tow.
xDD, you were quite grouchy in the beginning and cried while waiting for the show to start.
NN n DD, you 2 complained that your views were blocked by the adults in front.
In the end, you 2 sat on both sides of Mummy's cross-legged laps, while Mummy carried xDD.
Both Mummy's legs were numbed by the time the show ended!
You 3 enjoyed the show, although Mummy thought that maybe NN, you are abit too old for this type of show.
Maybe next time we should get Papa in instead, and replace Mummy. Hehe, let's see what he says.

Nicolle's New Music Enrichments

You started your Piano Lessons at 4 years old exactly, almost 4 months ago.
However you had not been consistent in your piano practices at home earlier. Perhaps also because both Papa and Mummy didn't really spend time with you in this aspect.
Recently, you requested to learn violin.
At Mummy's request that you be diligent in piano practise first, you started to be real serious in practising and were always fighting with your KorKor Ryan (who was recently cramming for his Grade 1 piano exam) over the use of the piano at home everyday.
Mummy enrolled you for 1-1 violin lesson at Mandeville Music School.
Hopefully you would be able to maintain your interest in both areas. Looking forward to hearing you play your first song on the violin soon....

Year 2010, the year the first Youth Olympic Games was held.
Venue, in our very own Singapore.
This was a once in a lifetime thing. A chance to watch the YOG.
Papa bought tickets for the 2 football semi-final matches, and it was a bonus that our very own Singapore Cubs were scheduled to play in one of the semi-final match at Jalan Besar Stadium.
He brought you along for the match. You are really a good companion for him now.
You cheered and supported the Singapore Team along with him, and you actually cried when we lost 1-0 to Haiti.
You also met Uncle Wee Teck and family, and your ex CM friend Marcel and family again, at the Stadium.

Our first visit to The Peranakan Museum.
Mummy had intended to bring you 4 for the "Ramadan Revisited" exhibition on the 3rd level.
We had a brief walk around the 1st and 2nd level, and watched some performances in between.
YY, we met your ex-CM classmate, Marcel, with his family too. It is real funny that you 2 boys are so shy with each other now, when you had been so close in CM then. :P
We proceeded to the Archery and Sand Art Area on the ground level outside the Museum after that. You had fun here.
It was only on the way back home that Mummy realised we forgot all about the "Ramadan" exhibition on the 3rd level! Haha
Nevertheless, you 4 still had a great time.

The Peter Pan Photo Shots

It has always been like this. Everytime there is a new addition in the family, we will have the new baby's photos taken by Peter Pan Studios. The 1st shot at 2-3 day old and the 2nd one at 6mth old. (with the exception of DD.. By the time we got around to taking the 2nd photo shot then, you were already sitting very well at 1 yr old. Oops!)
Our family should be complete with the birth of xDD, hence this time round, Papa and Mummy decided to have an additional photo with all 4 of you kids in it only. But it was really not easy taking photos of all 4 kids all at once. All our selections were determined by our dear DD's captured expressions (or rather the lack of it) ...

DD, you would either be scratching some parts of your body , or staring up the ceiling, most of the time. Haha. You, our most handsome boy, really look bored and expressionless then.

No NDP tixs for this year again, hence we decided to bring you for a preview of the firework and fighter jets display. Marina Barrage came to our mind. At 5pm, the place was packed with cars and people. Hmm... Seemed like the correct place to catch the fireworks since everyone was flocking here.
Here, we could really see the fighter jets zooming over our heads on the way to the Padang. Everyone was so excited. However the fireworks displayed was partially blocked by one of the emerging towers of IR. This we havent taken note of earlier. Seemed that we had to choose another venue for the next pre-NDP fireworks display.

We reached the themepark in the morning, in the midst of a gloomy weather. It had been raining quite heavily. It was a good thing the rain stopped soon after. Nice weather afterall, but quite crowded too.

There were long queues at every attractions, hence we had to be selective.
The Shrek 4-D adventure Show, WaterWorld Show and The Steven Spielberg Show were very impressive, esp the Shrek 4-D.
DD, you were so angry with the water droplets that "sprouted" from the sneezing dragon. :P
You enjoyed yourselves at the Donkey Live Show too, but NN, you fell asleep during the last Hollywood Musical. Mummy deemed it too long and not really suitable for children your age.

Of the few rides that we went for, the roller coaster at the Enchanted Airways had to be your favorite.
YY, you went for 3 rounds with Papa.
NN, you were simply fearless. Mummy was freaking out with fright during the ride and next to Mummy, your korkor's eyes were shut so tightly. You however, together with Papa, actually raised your hands in the air during the rides!

King's Park and Lotterywest Family Area @ King's
This had to be the largest park in the city that we have ever gone to. Lots of space for you to run around. You even had a soccer game on the green lawn here. The playground at Lotterywest Family Area was equally fun. The half day that we spent here could have easily dragged to full day if not for the fact that we were rushing for time. It was with great reluctance that you bidded this playground goodbye. Really a must visit place again if we have a chance to come to Perth again. Xdd would have like this too.

We proceeded to Harbourtown for some shopping and finally to Freemantle for dinner at the Famous Circellos. The aquarium inside the restaurant kept you entertained for quite long while we adults enjoyed our seafood dinner.

It was still too early to go to the airport as our scheduled flight was 1am. Hence we detoured to the Burswood casino complex. You 3 waited patiently at the eatery area while the adults took turns to go in. Of course there was no complaints from you as you were too busy enjoying your ice cream in the cold weather. :P

Finally the time has come for us to say good bye to Perth. It had been an enjoyable trip and you 3 finally knocked out on the flight back home.

Perth 2010 - Day 07 Swan Valley

Today's itinenary
- Caversham Wildlife Park and Swan Valley

Caversham Wildlife Park
Highly recommended by alot of pple who came back from Perth.
Lots of animals here.
We went into the sheeps and goats enclosures before the Molly Farm Show started.
Lots of "grapes" aka droppings on the ground.
Had a bit of action here when 2 of the "smarter" goats decided to force their way out of the fenced enclosure. They were stuck between the 2 gates. Papa had to slowly guided them back. 3 of you were so excited throughout the whole process.

1st was the Sheep Shearing Demo. Actually we found the one we saw in Yallingup much more impressive. The Shearer there seemed more experienced and surer too. Haha
Next, Horse whipping Demo. Papa gamely volunteered to try out this. ")
Then, "bottle feed the lambs" competition. YY, you volunteered too.
Lastly, cow milking. YY n NN, both of you had a go here.

You 3 had lots of fun hand feeding those free roaming kangaroos. It was really an up close and personal experience for you.

Caversham Wildlife Park & Whiteman Park

After a quick lunch in Whiteman Park's cafe, we proceeded to other attractions within Swan Valley.

We went on a chocolate and wine tasting trip at Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Sandalford Winery, Lancaster Winery and Cape Lavender. Really huge compounds with lots of greenery for you to run around, especially Sandalford Winery.

Sorrento Quay aka Hilary's Boat Harbour
We dropped by this beautiful place as the sun was setting. Gorgeous houses lined the road all the way to here. The harbour itself was beautiful too with lots of boats anchored here. It was fish and chips for dinner again. :)

Had a shock during the cow milking session. One Singaporean boy, ard YY's age, kicked the poor cow. Startled it and caused abit of uproar. And the parents actually laughed it off. This attitude is really not to be tolerated. What a shame.

Perth 2010 - Day 06 Albany

Today's itinenary
- Albany

Being the typical rush rush Singaporeans, we decided to squeeze Albany into one day and proceed back to Perthcity near dusk.

It was to be a very packed day today.

Emupoint
We drove to Emupoint after we checked out of our accomodation. Lots of pelicans and seagulls here, but you 3, as usual, were more interested in the playground. :P

Drove up the Mt Clarence Scenic Drive, stopped by the Dog Rock (Rock that really resembles a dog head with a painted collar around its neck) and then to the Maritime Museum. We didn't go into the Museum. There was this life size ship model anchored right in front of the Museum.

Sunday Fisherman Market
Managed to catch the weekly Sunday Fisherman Market. Papa and San Shu feasted on the fresh oysters here. (yes, oysters at 10am in the morning.....)
You 3 had your fair share of delicious yogurt, yummy pancakes, freshly picked strawberries and hot chocolate. There was also an adult choir performance here today.

Albany Wind Farm
Impressive gigantic windmills here.

The Gap and Natural Bridge
Two natural scenic points, side by side to each other.
At The Gap, there was a big drop in the difference in land level between the rocks we were standing upon and the Ocean.
Gigantic foamy waves down there.
As the name Natural Bridge meant, the rocks were ïn the form of a bridge after many many years of waves hitting against it.
Mummy kept the 3 of you in close proximity least you decided to venture too close to the edge. Even Popo also reminded San Shu not to walk too far out. Haha

Blow Holes
This was a long long walk down to the Blow Holes. Total 0.9km x 2 ways.
YY and NN, you were great. You managed this without any complaint.
DD, you were funny. You imagined that the sand on along the route was animal food and the rocks by the side were kangaroos. You kept feeding "food" to the "kangaroos" as you walked.
Disappointing end though as we didn't manage to see Blow Holes in action. Just loud noises as the big waves splashed against the rocks.

Rocky Hill
Our last scenic stopover at Albany.
We sent San Shu to survey the area first as eveyone was tired with the long long walk at the Blow Holes. Haha.
Not much to see here though.
As the name implies, lots of rocks...

It was time to bid Albany goodbye. We started our 5hr long journey back to Perthcity an hour before the sun start to set.

Perth 2010 - Day 05 Pemberton to Albany

- Travel from Pemberton to Albany

It was really a freezing morning! Temperature dropped to 7 degrees!
YY, you were immobilised with cold.
Haha. Papa had to carry you from the cottage into the car....
Before we left this beautiful cottage, NN and DD, you 2 fed the colorful birds one last time. It was really a wonderful experience here.

The Gloucester Tree
This was to be our last stop in Pemberton.
The Gloucester Tree was tall. Really tall. 61m high.
There were steel rails anchored all around the tree that acted as ladders for those who dare to brave the climb up to the platform 61m above. San Shu was one of them.
We could only posed for the camera at the first 5 to 8 steps. Haha.
Many tame and colorful birds here too.

At Pemberton

Valley of the Giants
At Wadpole, we finally got to see what it was like on the top of the trees. Earlier, San Shu had shown us the photos he took on top of the Gloucester Tree. We stopped at Valley of the Giants, Tree Top Walk. It was a suspended bridge to the top of the trees. The highest point from the ground was 41m. High enough for DD to keep clinging onto Papa.
NN, even the usual daring you also hesitated to take the next steps and insisted to hold hands.
YY, only you were daring enuff to run at this height.
The next stop was the Ancient Empire Walk, full of living trees with big gaping holes, a result of lightning strikes.

Our final 2 stops before we reached Albany.
Great sea view at these 2 places, but we missed one of our scheduled stops, Pentland Alpaca Stud Animal Farm & Wildlife Park. :(

At Wadpole

Reached Albany around 4pm. It was really a very quiet town. Not much cars on the road too. Shops were closing and we had to rush to the Visitor Centre to book our accomodation. Home tonight was Emu Point Cabin at Emu Point. It was a cold cold night again.

Perth 2010 - Day 04 Busselton to Pemberton

- Travel from Busselton to Pemberton

It was time to depart from Busselton, after a short 2 nites stay.
We would be travelling towards Pemberton today.

Sheep Cheese Farm
Papa and San Shu were actually on the lookout for wine vineyard when they spotted this sign along the road.
Out of curiosity, we decided to drive into the premises. We entered the tiny shop that was surrounded by a huge grassland full of roaming sheep. Papa and Mummy accepted the small offerings of the few types of sheep cheese by the owner. It was a mistake. The cheese didn't quite agree with our stomachs. Haha. So we didn't buy any at all. Papa's first thought then was our poor xdd is currently on goat's milk now." Poor little fellow.
In the end we were more interested in the roaming sheep and numerous fruit trees outside.
NN, you were busy collecting the twigs from the ground. Such simple nature that gave you so much fun. :P

Cheese and Wine

The Trees Change
During our car ride, the trees started to grow taller and taller. The Trees in Pemberton Region were really very very tall. Some of them were as tall as 60mH (equivalent to 20 sty bldg in Singapore)

Pemberton Town
We arrived at Pemberton Town around noon. While Papa walked towards the Visitor Centre, you 3 ran in the opposite direction. Towards the playground that you had spotted immediately when our car stopped.
YY, you actually asked Mummy then "why are there sand in Oz's playground?".
Hmm.... Mummy suddenly realised that we seldom see sand in Singapore's playground anymore..
We had a quick lunch at one of the eatery in town while waiting for the next Pemberton Tram into the Karri Forest.
You 3 were pretty excited at first even as the station master's commentory was running.
It was your first time in a Tram and we were really going into the Forest.
There were 2 stops, one at the Cascades and one at Warren River. It was really an adventure on the jungle trail (5-10 mins only!) Haha.
On the way back, YY and NN, you 2 took up the invitation to horn the Tram once.

We checked in to Warren River Cottage for the nite after that. It was really a beautiful place. Imagine earthen cottage in the midst of tall trees (yes, we were really sleeping in the forest to-nite). There was a traditional chimney with firelogs in a timber chest next to it too. The logs were sufficient to last us the night. We were also given a pack of bird feed. You 3 searched for the feed stand and found it in front of our cottage. You placed some food in it. At first we were still wondering what kind of birds would show up. Very quickly, 2 very colourful birds came flying past us, and stopped at the stand. They were real beauties.
There was an outdoor gas BBQ pit. So we decided to make use of it. We were having BBQ tonight.
Tonite was really freezing cold. But it was very very fun BBQ-ing in the cold weather. It was totally darkness outside and we could see the stars and moon so clearly here.

NN, you together with your 2 bros have been told not to go near the chimney as it was very hot. You forgot and scalded your little finger. There was a big blister, and you really cried very hard. It must have been very very painful. My poor little girl.

Perth 2010 - Day 03 Busselton, Yallingup and Margaret River

- Visit Attractions at Busselton, Yallingup and Margaret River Region

Busselton Jetty
It was our first stop in Busselton in the early morning. Alas, the jetty was still closed for renovation, and we were too early even for the lone giftshop on stilts there. Despite the construction activity around here, the jetty still look wonderful. It was also here that we spotted the 1st of the 4 rainbows that we were be seeing today.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse
Our next destination. It was a windy road uphill.
The place was still quite deserted and we waited around for the first guided tour of the day into the lighthouse.
The view up there was wonderful, but Mummy guessed YY and DD enjoyed playing ball more than the view.

Yallingup Sheep Shearing Shed
This had to be one of your favorite stops. You 3 were so excited to see the sheeps so close up in the enclosure. Even more exciting was when Papa came out of the ticketing area with 3 tubs of sheep feed for you to feed those hungry sheep.
YY, true to your age, you were the bravest. You easily used up the contents of your tub. You did not need any prompting when it came to sheep feeding.
NN, you were abit hesitant at first, but could see that you wanted to try feeding. You finally decided that the safest way was to place the tub in front of those hungry sheep and let them eat from the tub.
DD, you were the funniest. You kept placing the food onto Papa's hands and pushed his hand towards the sheep.
The Shearing Show was quite impressive. Fun, yet educational. You 3 also experienced bottle-feeding those baby rams.

Canal Rocks
Next stop was Canal Rocks, nearby the Shearing Shed.
Windy and rocky place, but we were rewarded with a gorgeous sea-view here.

Margaret River Town
We had a late lunch at Margaret River Town. It was a quiet and small town here. Tried Simmons Ice Cream here too. Nice.

Sunflower Animal Farm
This was the last highlight of today's activities. It was really fun for you 3.
As soon as we alighted from our car, we were greeted by a big friendly dog, almost the same height as DD. You 3 were given a bucket of animal feed each. There were just so many animals to feed in the farm. Ponies, Horses, Kangaroos, Emus, Llamas, Bunnies.... The list was just endless. Some of them were in enclosures, some were roaming around freely in the farm.
We spent around 1.5 hrs here. We were the last family to leave as you 3 were simply having too much fun, and our dear DD was so selective in his choice of feeding. He only fed those cute and harmless looking animals. Haha.

Perth 2010 - Day 02 Perthcity to Busselton

- Drive down to Busselton from Perth City

Stopover at Freemantle along the way
The first thing you 3 did when you got out of the car for a short break at Freemantle was to chase the seagulls. You were so excited to see the birds at such close distance. We had a walk around the town and ended up at Famous Freemantle Eshed Market. Too bad it was not opened on weekdays. You started chasing the seagulls at the port again. It was such a beautiful sight to see the seagulls, sea and fishing boat at the port.
We spotted a lighthouse nearby. It was too far to walk so Papa drove us over. It was another great seaview there.

Toilet break at The Coles Shopping mall at Bunbury and we did some supermarket shopping here. The Supermarts are so big and spacious in Oz. Had early dinner at the nearby Chicken Treats fast food restaurant. Then it was back to the car for the last 45 mins journey to Busselton

Perth 2010 - Day 01 Sin to Perth

Dear YY n NN n DD
This is the Day of our long awaited Overseas Trip.
The Start of 1 week Holiday at Perth.
Also DD's first air flight, and regrettably we have to leave xDD behind in Singapore as he is too young now.
Our entourage include the 5 of us as well as Popo and San Shu.

DD, you were quite funny. You didnt understand that we had to check in our big orange luggage. When you saw it disappeared along the conveyor belt, you cried bigtime and went up to the counter to ask the SQ staff to return your luggage. Haha.

Overall, it was a good air journey with the 2 of you being totally engrossed with the KrisWorld games and shows on board the flight. Even DD was concentrating on his Dora Show throughout the whole 5hr flight. Opting to fly SQ looked like a wise choice...

It was a night flight and we reached Perth around midnite. Nothing much to do except pick up our Toyota Tarago from Hertz counter at the airport and drive to our accomodation for the nite.

Moon follow me....

It started one night a few weeks ago when Papa brought you for one of the routine stroll downstairs. While walking, you turned around, saw the moon high up in the sky, quickly ran forward, turned, and the moon was still there. You became terrified and asked to be carried. You buried your face in Papa's arms and wanted to go home.
You were bewildered how come the moon kept following you.
You came home that night and told Mummy. "Moon follow me...."
Since then, every now and then, you would look up to the sky and mumbled to yourself, "Moon follow me..."
My silly lovely boy.

Papa and Mummy brought you 4 to our old house at pgl last Sunday evening.
You had a great time running around the place and playing at the big playground downstairs. We did some house visiting and it was really nice to see all the old neighbours again. Everyone was so friendly it made Mummy kinda miss the life here.

xDD, It was your 1st visit to the house where all your elder siblings called it their first home.

My poor little gal. You are really unlucky where hfmd is concerned.
For 3 years in a row you contracted this disease....
Initially we had thought that you would be spared this May season, but your spots appeared on the last day of May.
Or rather, all the signs had actually gone unnoticed during the long weekend of the last week of May, until your preschool teachers did the routine inspection the following Monday morning.
By then, most of your spots had surfaced and subsided by the end of the day.
Talk about neglience parenting!

Cold Storage kids' Run 2010

Papa signed you 2 up for the Cold Storage Run 2010.
Red Chase (Boys/Girls) Fun Run 800m 7 to 9 years old for YY.

You were very co-operative on that Run Day. You 2 didn't laze around nor did you refuse to get up of bed, as were your usual styles.

From the pictures taken by Papa, Mummy could see that you 2 had a very fun time.

YY, Papa told Mummy that you ran the race 2x. Once all by yourself while Papa and NN watched you from the sidelines, and the 2nd time with NN and Papa for NN's group. Well done, my boy!

NN, according to Papa, you ran the whole 600mm without stopping. Add together the Carnival Time, you were totally knocked out on the way home. You were motionless when Papa carried you back from the car to our sofa at home. You remained safe asleep for the next 2 hours. Really a tiring but fun day for you.

HFMD (again)

Dear DD
This year, you succumbed to this disease again. 2 years in a row.
We had to isolate you from the rest of your siblings and placed you under the care of Grandma in Tampines.
Papa and Mummy took turns to visit you every night after work.
Our house was kinda quiet without your chatter and laughter.
Everyone was glad when you came home after 5 days away.

One good thing came out of this incident. You became potty trained in the day time as a result of those painful and itchy rashes you developed at your nappy area. It was simply too hot and unbearable for you to be in disposables diapers all the time. You requested to wear undies and remembered to ask Grandma to bring you to the toilet each time. Well done, my baby boy.

Dear NN You are really a daredevil when it comes to swimming. You had managed to swim 2-3 m all by yourself in the 1.2mD pool only not too long ago. And when Papa and Mummy brought you to Wild Wild Wet on your birthday, you were totally at ease and fearless in water, regardless of whether you were wearing the life jacket. Yesterday afternoon, you managed to swim the whole lap of the pool downstairs, to and fro, with intermediate stops while Papa swam next to you. It was really a feat for a little girl like you. Really well done!
However, Mummy is actually quite worried about your level of confidence (or over-confidence) in your water skills. Hence the only way to protect you is to equip you with adequate water safety knowledge and swimming skills.

Cake at PoPo's House
Papa and Mummy bought you a Swensens' Ice Cream Cake and we had an early celebration at PoPo's house on Saturday. It was your all time favorite disney characters, Monsters Inc. Could see that you and your 2 brothers enjoyed the cake very much.

BBQ Session
Mummy had a bbq session on Sunday with Mummy's colleagues. Even though it was more of a gathering and not really meant as a celebration for your coming 4th birthday, all the aunties and uncles showered you with birthday presents. You really had a great time playing with all the kids that day.

You will never be alone

Dear YY, NN, DD and xDD
Having a lot of brothers and sisters can be a good thing. Even though you may vie for Papa's and Mummy's attention sometimes, and fight over toys and books at other times, you 4 would have no lack of companionship during your growing up years.
Mummy witnessed an incident during one of your play session at Downtown East Explorer Kids Indoor Playground last weekend.
YY, NN and DD. You 3 were having fun at the "tunnel" station when a 5 yr old boy approached DD and pushed him 2x. Immediately, you 2 came to DD's rescue and stood in front of him, shielding him from the boy. It didn't matter that you could be pulling one another's hair out at home every other day. What is most important is, Thank you for keeping a lookout for one another when you are outside. :)
In another incident, 2 kids, totally unrelated to each other, requested to join you 3 in the play because your laughter was simply too contagious.

A New Found Interest

Dear YY n NN
Mummy is glad that we signed you 2 up for the blading lessons earlier. At least you are getting abit of sun out there besides your regular weekend swims. You 2 had so much fun that you requested to continue with more lessons despite Mummy's initial idea that 4 lessons should be sufficient to send you blading on your own.
NN, you were quite hesitant during the first 2 lessons and needed a lot of coaxing just to get onto the pavement. Surprisingly you were also keen to continue and even requested to practise during the weekdays.

Nicolle Can Swim...... abit

It was a real surprise to see you swim abit at the pool today. You managed to swim ard 2-3m without float. Hands and legs not really well co-ordinated, but it was really amazing. Taught by Papa during those weekend funtime at the pool.

Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School

Bear and Chicken are back! They are getting ready to go to a new school. But moving from their familiar school to a new one is scary. Together Bear and Chicken decide to join the Circus. Wouldn’t it be fun to be the circus clown, acrobat or even the lion tamer?
What entails is a charming discovery that not all lessons in life are learnt in a classroom and perhaps the circus isn’t all fun and games after all.
This play illustrates how sometimes our fears can be blown out of proportion but with a good friend at your side; you can overcome a potentially daunting situation like the first day of school. Perhaps school can even be fun!
Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School is the third of a highly successful original series that began with When I Grow Up and Bear and Chicken Go Camping. You’ll get to meet the lovable Bear in his circus costumes, and Chicken who is all set for school!

Another Bear and Chicken Play. We watched this with Zavier and Ashley this time.
DD, real glad that you managed to sit through the whole play this time. You were quite engrossed. You even cried for more when the play ended. :)
NN, Mummy was seated quite far away from you this time and didnt manage to attend to you during the play. Sorry, my love.

Blading Class - 2nd Lesson

Your 2nd roller blading lesson.
NN, you balanced very well on the grasspatch this time, but you still have a phobia of going onto the pavement.
The coach told us to let you practise balancing before the next lesson.
YY, you were able to achieve the lesson milestones. Well done, my boy.

Babysitter

Dear xDD
PaPa and Mummy are sending you to a bbsitter during weekdays when Mummy goes back to work next Monday.
It was not the first time one of you was taken care of by a daytime bbsitter. Your korkor Ryan also went to bbsitter during his first 2 years. But when Mummy brought you over to Aunty's place and left you there for the day yesterday, Mummy felt sad. Really didn't think that Mummy would feel this way again. Actually there was already a feeling of separation anxiety when Mummy was buying your necessities to bring over to her place earlier during the week.
Mummy delayed departing from Aunty's place yesterday. Your eyes were fixed on Mummy all the time during Mummy's conversation with her. Perhaps you were trying to grasp what was happening?
When Mummy picked you up in the evening, you were asleep in the rocker. Glad that you managed to sleep in unfamilar place. Hope that you would get used to this new change soon, and hope Aunty will take good care and dote on you.

My 4 Darlings

Dear YY, NN, DD and xDD
The 4 darlings of our big family of 6.
Really can't believe that our family has grown so fast, both in age and in size.

All 4 of you require different types of attention right now.

YY, NN n DD, you 3 fight alot nowadays. Usually it's 2 v.s 1, and the lone 1 is always reduced to tears during such times. How to make you 3 fight less? Hmm....

xDD, right now you are only demanding basic needs and TLC from Mummy. Can't imagine when you grow bigger. Would it be 3 v.s. 1 then, or an even fight among you 4?

But of course you have loving times too. During those times, it is really a joy to watch you.

The Hardworking 3.
Usually it starts off with YY doing homework/assessment books, NN follow suit, and DD wants to draw too! Can be real chaotic when all 3 ask questions or request that Mummy help you with your work all at the same time!
And we will need to bring in one more chair for xDD in another 2 years time....

Blading Class - 1st Lesson

YY, at your request, Mummy enrolled you and NN for roller blading lessons during the Mar holidays. It was a one instructor to 2 kids class.
The first thing you were taught was how to fall properly without hurting yourselves.
Then you were trained to keep your balance on grass patch. All these were taught through play and games.
YY, you were quite daring and fast enough to achieve the lesson milestones.
NN, surprisingly, you were quite "babyish" this time and refused to do your best. The instructor had to coax you into standing up by yourself and balancing on blades. You also refused to move an inch once you were up on your feet with blades. It was only towards the end of the lesson that you forgot you were on blades and started to chase after the instructor during gametime.
Hope you 2 have fun and are able to master blading after the end of 4 lessons.
